Team Information

The Mississauga Olympians Track and Field Club provide
training and competitions for children and youth of all
abilities. The club provides a safe coaching and training
environment to maximize each athlete’s performance in
events such as sprints, jumps, throws, and distance running.
The team trains two days a week and our athletes compete
in local and provincial competitions

The Goal of our program is to enhance fitness levels and promote healthy lifestyles. We want our athletes to have fun and to reach their full potential as a track and field athlete.  We do this by introducing our athletes to the many different events involved with track and field, and let them choose what event or events they would like to take part in. Our program is aimed to enhance our athlete’s self-esteem, improve skill and technique, build confidence and leadership, learn the value of teamwork, make lasting friendships, and have fun and enjoy the sport of track and field.
