They were deemed as an “Athlete of Excellent” for their track and field achievements last season. On August 5-7 The Mississauga Olympians had 2 of our finest athletes Leya Buchanan and Jacob Yearwood representing us at the Legion Canadian Youth Championships in Ottawa . Leya competed in 3 events the 100m winning the event in 12.29, she took 2nd in the 200m with at pb time of 25.42 and anchored the winning 15 and under girls 4X100m relay team to gold. We are very proud of you guys you represented the Mississauga Olympians Track and Field Athletic Association and Team Ontario well ! |
